Oneus Hwanwoong and Si-on Participate in EBS 'Literature in Textbooks Told by Idols'... To Be Released on September 2

Hwanwoong and Si-on, members of the group Oneus, will participate in the audio learning content 'Literature in Textbooks Told by Idols,' presented through a collaboration between the Ministry of Education and EBS. This content is scheduled to be released for free on Wednesday, September 2, at 9:00 AM through the educational platform 'Hamkke School' website and app.

'Literature in Textbooks Told by Idols' is a project where K-pop artists personally read 30 major works included in high school literature textbooks to deliver them to students in a friendly manner. Through this project, Hwanwoong and Si-on will each read a foundation myth and a classical essay, respectively, explaining the core context of the works in an easy-to-understand way.

Works Read by Hwanwoong and Si-on

Hwanwoong will read 'Dangun Myth,' which contains the story of the founding of Gojoseon. With his characteristic calm voice, Hwanwoong will convey the process of the nation's birth and the meaning of the Hongik Ingan philosophy, expressing his desire to also become a person who widely spreads good influence. Si-on will read the classical essay 'Suojaegi' by Jeong Yak-yong. Si-on will convey the power of literature by expressing, with a calm and serious voice, the attitude of life that protects one's original 'self' amidst external temptations.
