'Our Neighborhood Golden Age' Jochiwon Station, Hwang Ji-oh Joins… Broadcast on the 29th

SBS 'Our Neighborhood Golden Age' will be broadcast on Saturday, the 29th, at 5:10 PM. In this episode, the 'New Neighborhood Housekeeping Team,' having completed their first project in Jinan, Jeonbuk, is depicted heading to Jochiwon, Sejong, for their second project.

The space requested from the New Neighborhood Housekeeping Team this time is a small unused space located in a corner of Jochiwon Station. Upon hearing the request, DinDin showed a flustered reaction, saying, "How can we change a station?" but the actual space was a small scale, not the entire station. The client also added a special mission unique to Jochiwon, placing a burden on the Housekeeping Team.

New Member Chef Hwang Ji-oh Joins

For this project, Chef Hwang Ji-oh, the head patissier of fine dining Choi Dot and a winner of a baking survival show, joins as the cooking manager. In his first meeting with the Housekeeping Team, he made his presence felt by presenting the bread that earned him the survival victory, and leader Lee Kyung-kyu praised him, saying, "Baking is extremely difficult. Do you know the story of the 'bakery wife' who runs away because she's exhausted from making bread?"

Exploring Jochiwon and Visiting the University District

Leader Lee Kyung-kyu and Cooking Manager Hwang Ji-oh visited orchards, bakeries, and rice cake shops to taste peaches, a specialty of Jochiwon. Professionals Young Tak, DinDin, and Lim Eun-jung visited the university district to personally create goods and logo designs at the spaces of local designers, and DinDin revealed, "This is my first time coming to a campus." During the subsequent space planning meeting, Public Relations Manager Young Tak suggested an idea to promote the new space along with a local festival, asking, "How about opening in time for the peach festival?"

Jochiwon Dessert Competition

A dessert competition will also be held to select the protagonist who will be in charge of operating the unused space at Jochiwon Station. Along with Cooking Manager Hwang Ji-oh, Chefs Kim Dong-seok and Lee Seung-min will participate as special judges to determine the final first place winner.
