TV CHOSUN's new variety show 'Dogs to Brag About' will premiere on Wednesday, November 11, featuring the first-ever appearances of Lee Yeon-bok, Ye Ji-won, and Brian alongside their pet dogs. The show promises to reveal a different side of these professionals as they lose themselves in boasting about their pets.
The new variety show 'Dogs to Brag About,' premiering November 11, is Korea's first variety show dedicated to star pet owners showcasing the special charms of their dogs. Actress Han Hye-jin and comedian Heo Kyung-hwan will serve as MCs, adding witty commentary to the intense bragging wars among the star owners.
Master chef Lee Yeon-bok will draw attention by showing more passion for his dog Saeng-il's birthday than for cooking. During filming, Lee expressed strong confidence in Saeng-il's appearance, noting, "He is truly famous when we walk around the neighborhood. People recognize him not for any other reason, but because he is handsome." He added that even a veterinarian remarked it is rare to see such visuals, noting that Saeng-il's nickname in the neighborhood is "Ma Dong-seok" due to his muscular build. "I have always wanted to boast about our handsome Saeng-il in front of many people, so I am very happy to be able to do so through 'Dogs to Brag About.' I hope many people feel the preciousness of dogs," Lee said.
Actress Ye Ji-won, known for her unique personality and acting, will display immense pride in her dog Mija. At the start of filming, Ye remarked, "I think she has about 100 or 200 different facial expressions," adding that it is always a shame because the camera cannot fully capture her beauty. Ye went on to boast about every detail, from Mija's facial expressions to the direction of her fur, claiming, "As she grows, she does more makeup. Smoked makeup. She even received movie casting offers." She concluded by saying, "It was such a happy time with our lovely Mija."
Brian, known as a "cleaning fanatic," will present a complete reversal as his cleaning instincts prove useless in the presence of his pets. Regarding his dogs Ash and Romi, Brian took a 180-degree different stance compared to how he views people, stating, "I really cannot stand seeing people make things dirty. However, I believe there is no scent as peaceful as the scent that comes from a dog." He added, "Ash and Romi are truly precious family to me, and I am so happy to have this opportunity to show their charms. I hope viewers laugh a lot like I did and feel the happiness that dogs provide."
