TWS Releases Performance Film for Japanese Single 'SODA SODA'... Reaches No. 1 on Billboard Japan

The group TWS has released the performance film for their second Japanese single title track 'SODA SODA'.

TWS (Shinyu, Dohoon, Youngjae, Hanjin, Lee Ji-hoon, Kyungmin) showcased the video through their official YouTube channel at 8 PM on the 27th. The video features the members' choreography set against the ocean, wearing Y2K-style outfits. The choreography, set to a city pop sound, includes movements such as using fingertips to represent rising bubbles, shaking motions shaped like a Ramune bottle, high-fives, and hand-to-hand configurations.

With this single, TWS has rewritten their own records on local music charts. According to Oricon counts, their second Japanese single sold 161,253 copies on the day of release, surpassing the first-week sales of their previous work in just one day. During the first week of release, it recorded 225,853 copies in sales, reaching 2nd place on the Oricon 'Weekly Single Ranking' as of August 17 (counting period August 3–9).

'SODA SODA', in which members Kyungmin, Youngjae, and Lee Ji-hoon participated in composing, reached number 1 on Billboard Japan's comprehensive song chart 'Japan Hot 100'. TWS plans to reveal the Korean version stage of this song on Mnet 'M Countdown' on September 3.

Meanwhile, TWS will begin their Japanese tour. They will hold '2026 TWS TOUR '24/7:FOR:YOU' IN JAPAN' in Fukuoka from the 28th to the 30th, in Hyogo from September 4 to 6, and in Kanagawa on September 12 and 13.
