New 'Adventure Time' Series to Premiere October 8, 20 Episodes Every Thursday Until December 3

Cartoon Network Korea will premiere the new animation series 'Adventure Time: Side Quests' in the country for the first time on Thursday, October 8. This is a new work being presented on the Cartoon Network Korea TV channel for the first time in 8 years since 'Adventure Time' Season 10, returning with new stories while maintaining the whimsical and playful sensibility characteristic of the early seasons.

'Adventure Time: Side Quests' continues the universe of 'Adventure Time', which has swept prestigious overseas awards such as the Emmy Awards, Peabody Awards, and Annie Awards. It captures the adventures of the young hero 'Finn' and his best friend 'Jake', who possesses magical powers, in the fantastic land of Land of Ooo. With a new story unfolding in every episode, even viewers who have not watched the previous series can enjoy it without burden, and for fans who have been waiting for the new work, it is a piece where they can encounter new fun within familiar characters and the universe.

For the domestic dubbing, the existing voice cast will reunite to continue the familiar charm of the characters. Voice actors Lee Ji-hyun and Kwak Yoon-sang will perform the roles of the protagonist Finn and Jake, respectively. Beloved characters such as Ice King (voice actor Lim Ha-jin), Princess Bubblegum (voice actor Kim Bo-young), Marceline (voice actor Lee Myung-hee), and BMO (voice actor Jeon Jin-a) will also return with familiar voices.

This new work, produced by Cartoon Network Studios, involved Nate Cash as showrunner and executive producer, and Darrick Bachman served as story editor. Victor Courtright and Niki Yang took charge of direction, while Nick Cross and Matthew Janszen were in charge of art and music, respectively.

Cartoon Network's representative popular franchise 'Adventure Time' has captivated viewers worldwide with its warm storytelling, playful humor, and rich imagination. In Korea, it proved its high popularity by recording a self-highest viewership rating of 3.2% for the 4–14 age group. 'Adventure Time: Side Quests' is scheduled to be released sequentially on the Cartoon Network Korea TV channel, starting with the first broadcast at 7 PM on Thursday, October 8, with a total of 20 episodes every Thursday until Thursday, December 3.
