Delightroom (CEO Shin Jae-myeong), the operator of the global wake-up app ‘Alarmy’, announced that it will release the ‘MEOVV Video Alarm’ in collaboration with the global girl group MEOVV from The Black Label on the 16th. This is a new form of collaboration that includes the new song in an alarm that plays repeatedly every morning, allowing fans to start their first moment of the day with the artists.

This collaboration was prepared to celebrate the release of MEOVV's new single ‘GO HARD’. It is the first new song in about four months since their second EP ‘BITE NOW’ last June. The promotion will be conducted simultaneously in Korea, the United States, and Japan, and all Alarmy users worldwide can use it for free.

‘Video Alarm’ is a representative feature of Alarmy where users set alarms using both video and sound. If a user sets the MEOVV Video Alarm in the Alarmy app, the members will wake the user up every morning with the music and vivid voices of ‘GO HARD’, and MEOVV-themed wake-up missions will also be provided. Rich online and offline additional events will also be held. Alarmy plans to award unreleased photocards through a drawing among users who set the MEOVV Video Alarm. Detailed information regarding the event period and how to participate can be found on Alarmy's official Instagram.

Alarmy has previously proven strong fandom marketing effects through various IP collaborations. The Naver Webtoon ‘Return of the Blossoming Blade’ video alarm introduced in April this year recorded 400,000 alarm settings and 18 million cumulative exposures. Additionally, its original wake-up song ‘Yar Song’ was used in more than 650,000 alarms and received a great response as more than 50 artist teams participated in the cover challenge.

The collaboration between Alarmy and The Black Label is a representative case showing that an alarm app can go beyond a simple wake-up tool to become a powerful global media channel that promotes K-pop to the world. Currently, approximately 14 million alarms ring on Alarmy every day. When a new song is set as an alarm, fans listen to the song of the artist they personally chose repeatedly every morning. Unlike one-time banner advertisements or passing content, the immersion is very high in that users choose it themselves and encounter it every day.

The target audience also perfectly aligns with the global expansion strategy of K-pop. Alarmy ranks number one as a wake-up app in 160 countries worldwide, and its monthly active users (MAU) reach 10 million. Among them, US users alone account for approximately 3.5 million, and 63% of all users consist of teenagers and people in their twenties, which exactly matches the core consumption group of K-pop. It is an optimal channel to most naturally and effectively imprint new songs on teenage fans and fans in their twenties worldwide.

Delightroom CEO Shin Jae-myeong stated, “An alarm is the first sound that teenagers and people in their twenties around the world encounter every morning,” and added, “We wanted to gift a special daily experience where they do not just hear a new song once and pass by, but meet it repeatedly every morning.” He continued, “In the future, Alarmy will establish itself as an innovative channel where global IPs, including K-pop artists, can meet global fans most closely.”

Meanwhile, starting with this MEOVV collaboration, Delightroom plans to continuously expand partnerships with IPs that global users are enthusiastic about, such as K-pop artists, webtoons, and global characters.

Delightroom is the developer of the representative global sleep-wake solution ‘Alarmy’. Launched in 2012, Alarmy has achieved approximately 110 million cumulative downloads, 8 million monthly active users, and number one rankings in 97 countries as of 2026. Delightroom, which has grown without external investment, has 46 billion won in revenue and 20 billion won in operating profit in 2025. Delightroom's know-how in surely waking up users lies in its ‘mission alarms’. Various missions such as squats, walking, and math problems can be set. Delightroom plans to leap forward as a ‘Morning Wellness Solution’ that manages the entire sleep process from the pre-sleep stage to after waking up. It is developing a proprietary index, MWI (Morning Wellness Index), which can quantitatively measure sleep quality. It is also actively participating in strategic investments and M&A to build a ‘wellness ecosystem’.
