There was another major victim. Sarang-i, the resident pet of this house, was pushed under the car to avoid both the Baekgu and the puppies. She even became neglected, losing her own food because she was afraid of the small puppies. The pitiful sight of Sarang-i, who suddenly had to give up her own home, evoked both laughter and sympathy. What was even more absurd is that while the Baekgu leaves her puppies entirely in the care of Eun-sook and her daughter, she still does not allow even a single touch from the mother and daughter who have been providing nutritious food and snacks for nearly a year. As the Baekgu accepts the food and leaves the puppies, but refuses to narrow the distance with humans, the frustration of the mother and daughter grew.

Accordingly, a professional trainer was dispatched. The trainer analyzed that the Baekgu does not view humans hostiley, but is in a state of not knowing how to get close to humans. Following the advice, the family lured the Baekgu inside with snacks and began slow contact training in a corner of the living room. At first, they used a tree branch to carefully touch her body to get her used to it, and later succeeded in touching her with their hands. Eun-sook could not hide her overwhelming emotions, saying, "It feels like a dream." In particular, the moment Eun-sook first stroked the Baekgu, who had not allowed a single touch for nearly a year, caused the viewership rating to soar to 4.6%, claiming the 'Best Minute of the Day.'

Afterward, the Baekgu and the six puppies underwent a health checkup. Fortunately, they were all in good health, and the Baekgu decided to stay at the hospital for a while for spaying/neutering and physical recovery.
