Actors Choi Soo-jong and Ha Hee-ra will take the stage together in the play ‘Love Letters’.
The producer of the play ‘Love Letters’, Su Company, announced the casting news of the two on the 1st.
Based on the original work by American playwright A.R. Gurney, the piece depicts life and relationships through letters exchanged over approximately 50 years, from childhood to old age, between the model student Andy and the free-spirited Melissa.
Choi Soo-jong takes on the role of Andy, who has lived a life tailored to his parents' wishes. Following his recent return to the stage after about 9 years with the play ‘Oedipus’, he has chosen ‘Love Letters’ as his next work. Ha Hee-ra returns as Melissa, who grew up in a wealthy environment but carries a deficiency in parental love. This marks her third appearance, following 2022 and 2024.
In this season, the actual married couple Choi Soo-jong and Ha Hee-ra will stand on the same theatrical stage together for the first time as actors. The performance will be held from November 5 to December 27 at the KT&G Sangsangmadang Daechi Art Hall, and tickets will open on October 8 through NOL.
