According to media reports, 'Dune: Part Three', directed by Denis Villeneuve, will have its world premiere in South Korea on December 16. Following the confirmation of the release date, the main poster and final trailer have been released. This work is the final story in Denis Villeneuve's 'Dune' series.
Paul, played by Timothée Chalamet, attains absolute power and must choose his own destiny while facing war and conflict. The story is set 19 years after the conclusion of the previous film. New conflicts begin as Paul, who has become a ruler leading a ruthless holy war, reunites with the Fremen warrior Chani, who has chosen her own path.
The main poster depicts Paul walking alone through the vast deserts of Arrakis. The movie title is inscribed in the middle of the desert, creating a contrast with the image of Paul approaching from a distance toward the front, reflecting the anguish of the character who has become Emperor. The poster portrays Paul's new journey based on the world of the desert planet Arrakis established in the previous two films.
The final trailer released worldwide focuses on the confrontation between Paul and Chani and features large-scale battle scenes. The footage also reveals the returning cast from the existing series alongside newly joined actors. Jason Momoa joins as the clone Hayt, Florence Pugh plays Empress Irulan, who is in a political marriage with Paul, and Anya Taylor-Joy takes the role of Paul's sister, Alia.
Robert Pattinson joins the cast as Scytale, a new figure threatening the empire. Rebecca Ferguson returns as Lady Jessica, and Javier Bardem returns as Stilgar. The trailer previews an expanded story and action compared to the previous film through the diverging fates of Paul and Chani and their battles. Attention is focused on how the series, featuring director Denis Villeneuve and actors including Timothée Chalamet, will reach its conclusion in this final work.
