Enoch and Huh Chan-mi will perform a duet on Songgolmae’s “You, Whom I Happened to Meet” in the October 15 episode of TV CHOSUN’s Miss Trot For You, which features a special “War of Trot Stars” competition.
The 21st episode brings together skilled singers who have made their mark in various trot audition shows for duet battles. The program will pit the performers against one another, with the outcome to be decided at the end of the competition.
Enoch, who reached the TOP7 in both Fire Trot and Active Singer 2, will make his first appearance on TV CHOSUN. A 20-year musical veteran, he said he was surprised by how familiar the place felt: “I don’t know why it doesn’t feel unfamiliar, even though it’s my first time here.”
He is paired with Huh Chan-mi for the Songgolmae song. The two, both known for their singing and performance skills, are said to show strong chemistry despite it being their first time working together. Their romantic mood onstage drew shouts of “Get married!” from the audience, prompting laughter.
Enoch will also make a bold change for his solo stage, choosing Cho Young-nam’s “Delilah.” He will aim to win over viewers with an alluring gaze and precise choreography. He even changed his song choice just three days before the performance, underscoring his determination to win. Whether his first appearance brings the victory he has long wanted remains to be seen.
Son Bin-a, who has served as a steadfast supporter on Miss Trot For You, will enter the competition as Yoon Yoon-seo’s duet partner. “Yoonseo said she really wants to come in first, so today I want to grant that wish,” he said.
The pair will perform Tae Jin-ah’s “Song of Longing for Mother,” showcasing traditional trot. The program asks whether Son Bin-a can help Yoon Yoon-seo overcome the challenge from the assembled stars and prove the strength of his second-place finish on Mr. Trot 3.
TV CHOSUN’s Miss Trot For You airs at 10 p.m. on October 15.
