Geumgangjeongsa Temple to Hold 'The 4th Peace of Mind Through Literature, Geumgang Week' to Celebrate Completion of Traditional Culture Experience Center

Geumgangjeongsa Temple of the Jogye Order will conduct 'The 4th Peace of Mind Through Literature, Geumgang Week' from September 1 to October 31. This event primarily targets the 5060 middle-aged generation facing a transitional period in life, and is composed of programs that practice daily mind care by combining literature, meditation, and music.

The highlight of the event is the 'Meditation Healing Temple Concert and Traditional Culture Experience Center Completion Ceremony' to be held on October 17. This stage, featuring the Gwangmyeong Symphony Orchestra and singer Kim Yong-bin, also serves as an occasion to announce the opening of the newly opened Traditional Culture Experience Center. With various participatory contents such as humanities lectures, singing bowl meditation, and transcription of prayer texts prepared, it is expected to provide practical opportunities for rest and reflection to local residents.

Geumgangjeongsa Temple stated, "We wish to share the meaningful event of the completion of the Traditional Culture Experience Center with the citizens," and added, "We hope it will be a time when anyone can stay comfortably and enjoy, transcending generations and religion." This attempt to expand contact with the local community through culture and arts, moving beyond religious colors, presents a new communication model for modern temples.
