Chun-gil vows to block Cheon Rok-dam's pursuit of the Golden Cup

Chun-gil has declared war on Cheon Rok-dam to prevent him from securing the Golden Cup during the October 23 broadcast of 'Golden Friday.' Cheon Rok-dam currently holds a solo lead with eight Golden Stars and plans to perform Insooni's "Every Night" to maintain his position.

The psychological warfare between Cheon Rok-dam and Chun-gil is reaching its peak on TV CHOSUN's 'Golden Friday.'

In the 42nd episode of 'Golden Friday,' which airs October 23, a "National Sing-along Special" will feature classic songs that anyone can sing along to. As Cheon Rok-dam has risen to a solo lead with eight Golden Stars and moves one step closer to the Golden Cup, trot stars are beginning to counter to stop him.

During the broadcast, Chun-gil will overtly show his rivalry toward Cheon Rok-dam. Having once held eight Golden Stars and been on the verge of the Golden Cup, Chun-gil lost the first-place position to Cheon Rok-dam following consecutive ranking changes. Expressing his frustration by claiming, "I am the one who made eight Golden Stars," Chun-gil declares war, stating, "Anyone else is fine, but never Cheon Rok-dam. I will do whatever it takes to block Cheon Rok-dam's victory."

Cheon Rok-dam is not backing down, specifically calling out Chun-gil to demand a head-to-head confrontation. He further provokes the eldest member by using informal speech, addressing him as "Chun-gil-ah." The pride-driven battle between the older members, which has continued since Chapter 1, remains to be seen how it will conclude.

Kim Yong-bin, the "Jin," also joins the battle for the Golden Stars. Closely pursuing Cheon Rok-dam, Kim Yong-bin even proposes the eccentric tactic of winning the Golden Stars through a game of chicken fight. However, the other members, well aware of Kim Yong-bin's chicken fight skills, all rush to dissuade him, causing laughter. Curiosity is mounting as to whether Kim Yong-bin, who seems prepared to engage in physical combat in addition to singing, can stop Cheon Rok-dam's solo run.

Despite this opposition, Cheon Rok-dam's will to win remains unshaken. The secret weapon he brings out on this day is Insooni's "Every Night," a song he is confident in, having performed it as an encore at his own past concert. Attention is focused on whether this ambitiously prepared stage can serve as the decisive move toward the Golden Cup.

TV CHOSUN's 'Golden Friday' airs this coming Friday, October 23, at 10 PM.
