ILLIT's Full-Group Comeback With 'BREAK EVEN' in Doubt After IROHA Sprains Ankle
ILLIT's IROHA sprained an ankle during rehearsal for the group's encore concert in Incheon, making a full-group stage at the 26th comeback with 'BREAK EVEN' less likely while MOKA remains on hiatus. BELIFT LAB said no comeback schedule change has been made so far.
The chance of seeing ILLIT as a full group at the comeback stage for its fifth mini album 'BREAK EVEN', due on the 26th, has grown after IROHA sprained her ankle during concert rehearsal. No change to the comeback schedule has been announced so far.
Ankle sprain on the final day of the encore shows
ILLIT held 'ILLIT LIVE 'PRESS START♥' ENCORE in KOREA' at INSPIRE Arena in Incheon for two days from the 17th. On the final day, IROHA was injured, which deepened fans' worries. BELIFT LAB announced the news on the 18th through the official fan platform Weverse.
According to the announcement, IROHA twisted her ankle during rehearsal for the encore concert that day at the venue, and received examination and treatment at a hospital.
The agency said IROHA is strongly determined to take part in every scheduled stage. It added that, putting health and safety first, it will adjust her participation according to her condition, and that she may sit out some stages if she feels discomfort during a show.
MOKA's absence and a four-member lineup
The group was already shaken by health problems before the comeback. MOKA suspended activities on June 19 because of excessive tension and anxiety. About four months have passed, but no return date has been set, and she is due to miss some schedules, including a fan signing planned for November. MOKA was, however, spotted in the audience on the first day of the encore concert on the 17th, cheering on the other members.
Since MOKA's absence, ILLIT has been working as a four-member group of YUNAH, MINJU, WONHEE and IROHA. With IROHA now injured as well, a full-group appearance at the 'BREAK EVEN' comeback stage looks harder to achieve.
