IVE Releases Concept Photos of Jang Won-young and An Yu-jin for ‘Looks Can Kill’
IVE has released "Hero Comics" version concept photos for their new mini-album ‘Looks Can Kill’, featuring members An Yu-jin and Jang Won-young. The title track is set to be pre-released on the 19th before the full album launch on the 26th.
IVE has released concept photos for their new mini-album ‘Looks Can Kill’. Their agency, Starship Entertainment, uploaded the ‘Hero Comics’ version photos to official SNS on the 13th. The protagonists of the released photos are An Yu-jin and Jang Won-young. IVE consists of An Yu-jin, Gaeul, Rei, Jang Won-young, Liz, and Leeseo.
An Yu-jin showcased kicking and wooden board-breaking motions. Scenes were also captured where she makes a hand heart over a fallen stuntman or maintains a relaxed expression in front of a dumbbell. Action movements and humorous directing are placed together within a set of photos.
Jang Won-young performed martial arts moves, such as slicing fruit with a pole or aiming straight ahead. In close-up photos, she showed a calm and melancholic gaze, creating a different atmosphere from the preceding action scenes. The unit photo where the two stand facing each other captures determined expressions. Hair styling reflecting each member's unique color and different action compositions created a visual contrast.
The mini-album ‘Looks Can Kill’, to be released on the 26th, is a record that expands musical and visual expression by utilizing a hero worldview. The album contains IVE's color based on an independent and confident attitude. The title track of the same name is introduced as a song that expresses the team's presence and confidence. Recently, a portion of the music and the point choreography were released first through a challenge.
According to the agency, prior to the official release of the album, IVE will pre-release the title track ‘Looks Can Kill’ on various online music sites at 6 PM on the 19th. The mini-album is scheduled to be officially released on the 26th.
