8kg Croaker Stamina Meal Prepared in a 100-Year-Old Traditional House in Seocheon, Chungnam; KBS Korean Cuisine and Dining 15th Anniversary Special to be Released on September 3

To celebrate its 15th anniversary, KBS 1TV's 'Korean Cuisine and Dining' presents a two-part special titled 'Connecting the World through the Affection of Meals.' In the second part, 'Guest in the Sarangbang and Mother,' which will air on Thursday, September 3 at 7:40 PM, a special table is set to commemorate the 15th anniversary.

At a 100-year-old traditional house in Seocheon, Chungnam, 'Korean Cuisine and Dining' host Choi Soo-jong gathered with singer Lee Chan-won and 'Culinary Class Wars 2' top 5 chef Yoon Ju-mo. They personally prepare an 8kg croaker to complete a sincere meal featuring summer stamina foods such as croaker pancakes, seasoned croaker air bladder, and clear croaker soup.

Special Guests Who Came to Find Korean Affection

In this special, four guests who visited Korea for various reasons have been invited. Including Melinda, who appeared in the 2012 New York episode, Robert and his daughter Saeri, who love Korean pop songs, and Hwang Jin Yi, a former terrestrial news anchor from Argentina, they visit the traditional house. They experience 'mosi jjaegi' (ramie fiber stripping) with the village elders and make mandu (dumplings), sharing Korea's traditional culture and affection.

The table becomes even more abundant with local specialties sent by those who have appeared on 'Korean Cuisine and Dining' from all eight provinces of the country. Through this broadcast, the production team intends to capture the process of becoming like family in front of a meal, even though languages and cultures may differ.
