Announcing the news of the contract, EMK Entertainment stated that it has great expectations for the stage energy and growth potential possessed by Kim Woo-sung.
The agency also expressed its intention to provide full support so that the actor can move toward wider stages and new challenges while respecting his unique artistic color.
A graduate of Chung-Ang University's Department of Theater, Kim Woo-sung made his debut in the 2018 musical The Devil.
Since then, he has appeared in Meissa's Song, The Devil: Eden, The Devil: Faust, Romantic Song, First Man, Treadmill, and Nameless Hero, and played the role of Kuiper in Eternity.
This year, he took the stage as Julien in Joker, and is currently performing as Crown Prince Rudolf in the musical Elisabeth. This production will run at the Blue Square Woori Bank Hall in Seoul until November 15.
