On the TV CHOSUN program "Perfect Life," airing today (the 21st) at 8:00 PM, actor Lee Chang-hoon will reveal the love story of overcoming a 17-year age gap with his wife.
Appearing alongside his beautiful wife, Lee Chang-hoon confessed to comedian Lee Sung-mi that while he had dated several women in the past, he struggled to find someone to marry. He noted that he eventually spent a year praying to meet a spouse while envisioning a specific ideal type. He recalled meeting his wife through an introduction from Shim Hyung-tak, describing the moment like a scene from a movie where a beautiful woman appeared as music played.
At the time, Lee Chang-hoon was 41 years old and fell in love at first sight with his then 24-year-old wife, immediately asking for her phone number. His wife remarked that she initially thought her husband was at most 30 years old, adding that she was surprised by the significant age gap when she searched for his age later, but stated she had no regrets because he was so wonderful.
Meanwhile, Lee Chang-hoon, who celebrates his 60th birthday this year, shared concerns regarding his weight and digestive health. He revealed that at age 55, he had reached 94kg, stating, "I had indigestion, my stomach was rumbling, and I felt like my intestinal health had collapsed." He has since lost 16kg, presenting a striking difference in his before-and-after diet photos.
Lee Chang-hoon also shared his recent distress regarding stock investments. When his wife asked during a meal if he was still experiencing stress-induced indigestion, he replied, "I am stressed because of stocks." He added that while he was not originally interested in stocks, he started investing after listening to others and ended up losing everything, prompting a humorous moment as his wife attempted to comfort him.
The cinematic love story and the bitter stock investment concerns of actor Lee Chang-hoon can be seen on TV CHOSUN's "Perfect Life" today (the 21st) at 8:00 PM.
