Lee Sae-rom to work with Yoo Seung-ho in 'Chaebol X Detective 2'... Transitioning to acting after leaving girl group

Actress Lee Sae-rom will appear in the SBS Friday-Saturday Drama 'Chaebol X Detective 2'. Lee Sae-rom will play the role of bartender Song Ah-reum, who is selected as the muse of world-renowned sculptor Yu Sŏngwŏn (played by Yoo Seung-ho) and appears as an important link in the case.

'Chaebol X Detective 2' is a work depicting the collaborative investigation of chaebol detective Jin Yi-soo (played by Ahn Bo-hyun), who flips the situation with wealth when an investigation hits a dead end, and new team leader Joo Hye-ra (played by Jung Eun-chae). Song Ah-reum is a character who gets involved in a mysterious incident after receiving a modeling offer from Yu Sŏngwŏn, and Lee Sae-rom is expected to add tension to the drama by expressing the emotional lines that change as she experiences the incident.

Lee Sae-rom was active as a member of the group fromis_9 from January 2018 to December 2024. Afterwards, she signed an exclusive contract with the actor-specialized management agency 333 Entertainment last October, and will work with Yoo Seung-ho, an actor from the same agency, for the first time in this work. Previously, she experienced acting as the child version of Go Ah-ri (played by Han Chae Young) in the drama 'Ad Genius Lee Tae-baek', and also appeared in the TVING short-form drama 'I am Living with Chaebols Only I Can See'.
