LIGHTSUM teases new content with confession letter poster ahead of May 22 release

Cube Entertainment released a pink confession letter poster on the 20th to tease upcoming content scheduled for 12:00 PM on May 22. This follows the May 19 release of an emoji spoiler and comes as the group prepares for their first full-group appearance on Mnet's M COUNTDOWN on the 22nd.

Cube Entertainment released a new spoiler poster via LIGHTSUM's official social media accounts on the 20th. The pink-colored letter contains phrases such as, “What should I do, I keep thinking about it, is this true love?”, “I wondered if you noticed, but when will it come true?”, and “What should I do, I can't hold it in anymore, you know, I like you.”

On the 19th, LIGHTSUM previously released an emoji spoiler reminiscent of a messaging screen along with "Coming Soon" text pointing to 12:00 PM on the 22nd. By presenting this additional confession letter poster, the group continues to provide clues regarding their new content.

The web variety show 'LIGHTSUM Again' will premiere on the 20th. It is expected to capture the honest stories and previously unseen charms of the members, who have transformed into "kawaii" (cute) idols following their debut in Japan.

According to media reports, LIGHTSUM officially debuted in Japan last month with the release of the Japanese mini album 'Re:idol'. The title track 'どうして' (Doshite) reached 6th place on the YouTube Music Japan daily Shorts popular song chart and 3rd place on the daily chart. The album reached 4th place on the Oricon daily album ranking and 20th place on the weekly album ranking.

LIGHTSUM communicates with fans through 'LIGHTSUM's Re:Radio' on FM Osaka, which broadcasts every Monday evening. In Korea, they are scheduled to appear on Mnet's 'M COUNTDOWN' on the 22nd, marking their first appearance as a full group in approximately two years.
