BLACKPINK member LISA released her six-song EP 'PRESS PLAY' on 23rd, featuring the title track 'Tarantino' filmed in Bangkok. The track 'SaWaDiKa' has already reached number 69 on the Billboard Hot 100 and surpassed 70 million YouTube views within 24 hours.

According to media reports, BLACKPINK member LISA released her new EP 'PRESS PLAY' on online music sites worldwide on the 23rd. The album contains six songs in total, including the title track 'Tarantino', as well as 'SaWaDiKa', 'V12', 'Cobra', 'Cut U Off', and 'Sweat'. This work features a concept of an album that is like a single film.

The music video for the title track 'Tarantino' tells the story of LISA continuing a journey in a hotel to deliver a letter to Quentin Tarantino, a director she admires. LISA showcases fearless action in scenes where she confronts those blocking her path. The music video was filmed in LISA's hometown, Bangkok.

On the 22nd, one day before the release, a 'PRESS PLAY' listening party for Korean fans was held in Seongsu-dong, Seoul. The space was decorated to evoke a vintage Hollywood theater to convey the cinematic album concept, and the full album was revealed to fans at the event before its official release, receiving a positive response.

The track 'SaWaDiKa', which incorporates Thai culture, has drawn significant attention upon its release. According to media reports, the music video for this song surpassed 70 million views on YouTube within 24 hours of its release. This is LISA's highest record among her music videos and was introduced as the highest YouTube record for 2026. The song also entered the Billboard Hot 100 at number 69, setting a new personal high for LISA's chart entries.

LISA plans to continue various activities as a solo singer. She previously became the first K-pop solo artist to receive a 'Best Pop' award for 'Dream', and the documentary film 'Always Lalisa' met audiences at the Toronto International Film Festival before meeting them in theaters. According to media reports, she plans to communicate with fans worldwide through promotions announcing the new EP.
