The MBC daily drama 'Family Resister' broke its own highest viewership record, recording a nationwide household rating of 5.5% in episode 35 aired on Friday the 21st. According to Nielsen Korea, the scene where Geum Tae-o (played by Park Young-woon) discovers evidence in Do Do-hui's (played by Park Sol-ra) art studio that Do Do-hui is the culprit who took Na Ji-ni's (played by Park Se-young) missing tablet, reached a peak minute rating of 5.6%, making it the best minute of the broadcast.
Suspicions Surrounding Do Do-hui Enter a New Phase
In this episode, Im Sa-bin (played by Yoon Hee-seok) confessed to Im Ji-hu (played by Seong I-eon) that the person she is meeting is the original wife of Na Ji-ni's father. Sa-bin revealed her true feelings for No Yeong-ju (played by Lim Ji-eun) while asking Ji-hu to keep quiet about Do Do-hui's remark that 'Na Ji-ni is the daughter of a mistress.' Tae-o and Na Ji-ni checked the CCTV but could not find circumstances suggesting Do Do-hui stole the tablet, so they apologized to her, but Do Do-hui pressured them, saying, 'Kneel and apologize.' At this time, Im Jung-bin (played by Uhm Hyo-sup) stepped in to prevent the conflict, defending Do Do-hui while urging Na Ji-ni to be careful.
Unexpected Items Found in the Art Studio
While looking around Do Do-hui's art studio during Ji-hu's promotion celebration party, Tae-o discovered a torn bone marrow transplant certificate, a crumpled will, and a fragment of a painting featuring Min-gi's (played by Jun No-min) face. These were the items Na Ji-ni said had disappeared, and Tae-o secretly took them, without showing any sign to Ji-hu and Do Do-hui.
Rapid Deterioration of Oreum's Condition
At the end of the broadcast, Oreum's (played by Jang I-jun) condition deteriorated rapidly again. Ma-i (played by Jung So-young), who was holding Oreum in the hospital room, noticed something wrong and pressed the emergency bell; Oreum looked faintly at her mother and reached out a hand, but soon dropped it weakly. While Ma-i wailed while shaking Oreum, Seung-hyeon and No Yeong-ju, who arrived late, were also speechless.
