Singer Mina revealed on October 22 that her responsibility to care for five cats and one dog prevented her from joining Ryu Philip in Atlanta, Georgia, where he is staying for two months.

Singer Mina cited the care of her pets as the reason she could not accompany Ryu Philip to the United States. On October 22, Mina uploaded a video to her social media with the caption, "The reason I couldn't go to the United States."

The video features Mina's pet cat and dog resting inside her home. Mina revealed that she lives with five cats and one dog.

Previously, in response to a comment calling Ryu Philip "magnanimous" for leaving for the United States for two months, Mina replied that if she did not have five cats and one dog, she would also want to live by splitting her time equally between the United States and South Korea.

Mina and Ryu Philip are a couple with a 17-year age difference who married in 2018. On September 28, Ryu Philip announced through his channel that he was staying in Atlanta, Georgia, United States, apart from his wife.

At that time, Ryu Philip stated that he had come to the United States suddenly due to high stress and concerns regarding an unstable future, adding that he is attempting to make several decisions. He also expressed his apologies to his wife.
