MODYSSEY has now topped 650,000 copies in combined first-week sales across just two releases. The group set a new personal best of more than 350,000 copies with its first EP, breaking the record it had set about six months earlier with its debut.
Beating its own debut
The debut single "1. Got Hooked: An Addictive Symphony," released in April, sold 300,000 copies in its first week. The first EP, "Modyssey The First EP 2. Multitude: How We Bloom," released on the 12th, did better. According to the Hanteo Chart weekly album chart for October 12–18, it recorded first-week sales of 352,714 copies.
Second-half schedule and a message to fans
The group will continue its second-half activities with appearances on music shows, including Arirang TV's "Show K-Pop" and SBS Life's "THE SHOW."
"We are truly grateful for the love we have received even as rookies. It made us feel we should work even harder. We are so thankful to our members and our fans. We will keep growing without losing sight of our original resolve," MODYSSEY said.
