SBS 'The Most Beautiful Journey in the World' will air on the 31st, conveying the stories of adolescents who have taken on the role of breadwinners while caring for sick family members, as well as the volunteer scene at the coast of Chungnam.

Children who became their fathers' fathers

Since his first year of middle school, 18-year-old Yeongcheol has been in charge of nursing his father, who suffered hemiplegia as a sequela of a stroke, and his mother, who has an intellectual disability.

Even during the time when his friends are preparing for university entrance exams, Yeongcheol returns home immediately after finishing classes to prepare meals for his parents, and when he has time, he works part-time to earn living expenses.

Eunsu, a first-year high school student, has only her grandmother, who raised her and her younger brother after her parents' divorce, as her sole family member.

While her grandmother, who suffers from kidney disease, undergoes dialysis at the hospital for half of the week, Eunsu is in charge of looking after her brother, managing the household, and nursing her grandmother.

Lost youth, yet holding onto dreams

Yeongcheol misses the image of his healthy father and dreams of majoring in architecture at university so that he can work in construction like his father, who was a carpenter.

Eunsu is gradually saving up for her university tuition by splitting her time with part-time jobs.

About 100 volunteers set out to clean Chungnam coast

The 'Coastal Clean Relay,' involving about 100 volunteers from various cities and counties in the province, such as Seosan, Cheonan, and Taean in Chungnam, is a campaign that carries out marine debris collection and purification activities throughout the coastal areas.

The volunteer centers of the cities and counties in Chungcheongnam-do jointly planned this to raise awareness about the preservation of the coastal environment and the seriousness of the marine debris problem.

Volunteers joined forces to revive the beach environment by sorting and collecting trash such as plastics and discarded fishing gear piled up in the coastal area of Soam Beach in Taean.

The changed appearance of the sea resulting from their efforts can be seen in the broadcast on August 31.
