TV CHOSUN will premiere Mr. Trot 4 this December, featuring six former contestants including Lee Chan-won and Ahn Sung-hoon as masters. These judges, who include winners and runners-up from the previous three seasons, will provide advice to new challengers.

Trot stars who shone in previous seasons of 'Mr. Trot' will all appear in 'Mr. Trot 4'.

The TV CHOSUN program 'Mr. Trot 4', scheduled to air this December, will feature Lee Chan-won and Kim Hee-jae from 'Mr. Trot 1', Ahn Sung-hoon and Park Ji-hyun from 'Mr. Trot 2', and Kim Yong-bin and Son Bin-a from 'Mr. Trot 3' as masters. As the main figures who were loved by viewers for their unique music and charm in each season gather in one place, attention is focused on their judging and advice for the new challengers.

In particular, the joining of Lee Chan-won is drawing significant attention. Having established his name by securing a spot in the TOP3 of 'Mr. Trot 1', he has expanded his presence across various fields, moving beyond his career as a singer to work as an entertainer and music program host. In 2024, he solidified his status as a major figure by winning the youngest male Grand Prize in the history of the KBS Entertainment Awards. With his deep knowledge of trot and his friendly, witty personality, interest is high regarding what kind of performance Lee Chan-won will deliver as a master during the main competition.

Kim Hee-jae, who was part of the TOP7 of 'Mr. Trot 1', will also participate. Having demonstrated stage presence that encompasses both singing and dancing through his vocal skills and performance, Kim Hee-jae is expected to identify the diverse charms of the contestants.

Ahn Sung-hoon, the winner of 'Mr. Trot 2', and Park Ji-hyun, the runner-up of 'Mr. Trot 2', will also lend their strength. Ahn Sung-hoon, who clinched the victory after a re-challenge following his elimination from 'Mr. Trot 1', is expected to offer special empathy and support to the challengers standing on stage again. Park Ji-hyun, known for his refreshing vocals and energetic performances, is expected to identify the potential and public appeal of the contestants.

Kim Yong-bin, the winner of 'Mr. Trot 3', and Son Bin-a, the runner-up of 'Mr. Trot 3', will add the experience of the most recent season. Expectations are high for how Kim Yong-bin, who possesses depth in traditional trot and delicate expression, and Son Bin-a, who proved his skills after multiple challenges, will discover the musical individuality and growth potential of their juniors.

As the six senior masters have personally undergone the competition, they are expected to offer realistic advice from the perspective of a contestant, knowing the tension of the stage and the desperation of waiting for results better than anyone. The diverse judging created by their different perspectives, stemming from their respective strengths in vocal ability, emotional expression, and performance, is another point of interest.

Above all, it is deeply meaningful in that the stars produced by 'Mr. Trot' are returning to discover the protagonists of the next generation. TV CHOSUN 'Mr. Trot 4', which stimulates curiosity regarding which 'Trot Dokkaebi' these seniors—whose fates were changed by 'Mr. Trot'—will find, is scheduled to premiere in December.
