ONEW releases single album Misconception with three title tracks

ONEW released his single album Misconception on the 20th, featuring three title tracks including Mind Games with YUJU and Tic Tac Toe with ZICO. The singer produced all songs on the release, which comes seven months after his fifth mini-album TOUGH LOVE.

According to media reports, ONEW released the single album 'Misconception' on various music sites at 6 PM on the 20th. This new music comes approximately seven months after he released his fifth mini-album 'TOUGH LOVE' this past March. The album explores emotions arising from how different people perceive the same object or experience through various genres and moods.

The album contains three songs: the main title track 'Misconception', 'Mind Games' featuring YUJU, and 'Tic Tac Toe' featuring ZICO. Following the potential he showed as a producer in his previous work 'TOUGH LOVE', ONEW participated in the production of all songs on this new release. He has selected all three songs as title tracks, placing each at the center of the album.

The main track 'Misconception' depicts a flow where one assigns meaning to a partner's small actions and subsequently becomes convinced of something on their own. ONEW's smooth vocals express emotions wavering between reality and imagination, complemented by the dynamic rhythms of the UK garage genre.

The accompanying music video begins with ONEW spending a day on a set where it feels as though everyone is moving around him. After finishing filming, he checks the edited footage and faces the discrepancy between the day he believed occurred and the actual situation. The video captures the moment his perception of the situation, which he had accepted in his own favor, breaks through a playful twist.

Following comeback activities, ONEW is scheduled to meet his fandom, Jjinggu. The solo concert '2026 ONEW CONCERT [ONEW THE LIVE : Q] IN SEOUL' will be held from October 30 to November 1 at Olympic Hall in Olympic Park, Seoul.
