SBS's massive audition project 'Our Ballad 2' is conducting an open recruitment for the Round 4 'Top 100 Ears,' offering a chance to discover new stars alongside the contestants.
Following its massive success with the first broadcast last year, 'Our Ballad 2' is driving a 'ballad syndrome' this year as well. The program has drawn significant viewer interest due to notable contestants appearing since Round 1, including Park Ye-seung, who recorded the first-ever perfect score of 150 votes, as well as Heo Chae-min, Kim So-yeon, and Im Ba-da.
The 'Top 100 Ears' being recruited this time will participate in the Round 4 recording, providing an opportunity to directly watch and evaluate the contestants' stages. Anyone, regardless of age or gender, can apply if they pride themselves on being able to identify the "definite public pick" or if they have a knack for spotting trending songs and rising singers before anyone else.
Applications are open from today (the 20th) until Tuesday, November 3. Interested individuals can apply online through the official SBS 'Our Ballad' website. Those selected through a drawing will participate in the 'Our Ballad 2' Round 4 recording scheduled for Saturday, November 14.
Meanwhile, 'Our Ballad 2' has proven to be a major variety hit, recording consistent achievements such as ranking number one in Monday variety programming for the 2049 viewership rating across all episodes, ranking number one in the Netflix Korean series variety category, surpassing 40 million cumulative online views in just three episodes, and entering music charts after the very first episode.
