Rookie Band Hearts Wave Returns with Synth-pop... Aiming for Lollapalooza Stage

Hearts Wave, a five-member band composed of members who took first place in each position on the band survival program 'Steal Heart Club', made their comeback on the 9th by releasing their second mini-album 'The Second Wave: Momentum'. This album is their new release coming just five months after their debut, and it includes a total of six songs, including the title track 'Alive', as well as 'Mind', 'Sunday Morning', and 'Play My Guitar'.

The members stated that they chose the synth-pop genre for this album to maximize their individuality. Vocalist Rian explained that they utilized pop-style synthesizer sounds to add to the performance and musical richness, and bassist Dane added that they worked hard to find Hearts Wave's unique color through their team activities. Hearts Wave has been continuing active promotions, such as performing on the 'KCON Japan 2026' stage last May.

According to media reports, the members cited a headliner performance at the global music festival Lollapalooza as their future goal. Hagiwara, the Japanese drummer who performs wearing a Mask, expressed the ambition to stand on the stage of Japan's famous rock festival, Summer Sonic.
