Cha Tae-hyun, Park Kyung Lim, and Jung Seung-hwan reminisced about their 17.9-year-old days, which were filled with pure sincerity just like the participants of ‘The Ballad of Us 2’.

Cha Tae-hyun recalls his 17.9-year-old days when he met his wife, his eternal partner in life. Selecting Yoon Jong-shin's ‘That Day a Long Time Ago’ as a ballad sent to himself, he displays his witty side by saying, “Be careful of that friend next to you(?)” before advising, “That friend will become your eternal partner. The friend next to you is a benefactor. Hold on tight,” revealing his romantic side.

Meanwhile, Park Kyung Lim, who treated participants with warmth at every moment during the last season, sends a gaze full of warmth to the young Kyung Lim who ran hard with the single dream of becoming an MC. Furthermore, she offers infinite support, saying, “You are doing better than you thought. I hope you continue to do your best every day to nurture and dream your dreams.”

Jung Seung-hwan also jokes to his past self, who loved singing since he was young, “Ten years have passed since then, and you will have become a singer who relies heavily on your face and sings half-heartedly. So, I hope you devote yourself to singing,” while also predicting a hopeful future where he overcomes various setbacks to step up as a singer through ‘K-pop Star’. Additionally, he adds meaning by passionately singing ‘I Want to Fall in Love’, which he sang on ‘K-pop Star’, for his 17.9-year-old self.

Just like the representatives of Top 100, who decorated a page of dazzling youth while running toward their respective goals at the same time as the participants with an average age of 17.9, anticipation is building for the participants of ‘The Ballad of Us 2’ who will arrive with their own stories and sincerity.
