On Friday, September 4 at 8:50 PM, SBS 'Wonderful Story Y' will investigate the reality of 'Yeo.Gong.Bang', a new type of digital sex crime, and track a man who shouts in the Hapjeong-dong area.
The Shocking Reality of the Secret Chatroom 'Yeo.Gong.Bang'
Recently, Minah (pseudonym) received a tip that her boyfriend, Hyun Bin (pseudonym), was active in 'Yeo.Gong.Bang', a secret chatroom within Telegram. 'Yeo.Gong.Bang' was a sexual crime space where the personal information and photos of female friends were shared and used to create illegal deepfake composites. Victims learned of their victimization through anonymous accounts, and perpetrators committed secondary harm by distributing the composites even to the victims' acquaintances. Based on the testimonies of victims who have suffered for about a year, the production team tracks the identity of the perpetrator.
'Wak Ahjussi' Who Plunged Hapjeong-dong into Fear
In the busy area near Hapjeong Station, a middle-aged man has been spotted shouting piercingly for several years. This man, who suddenly shouts 'Wak!' at passersby, has continued threatening behavior even toward motorcycle riders and children in strollers. According to resident testimonies, he showed selective behavior, such as choosing people who appeared weaker or smaller than himself to shout at. The production team met him to directly verify the reason for his sudden actions, which have not stopped despite multiple reports.
