Actress Seo Eun-soo has been cast in the new tvN drama 'Gift', starring Kim Woo-bin.
Actress Seo Eun-soo is joining the new drama 'Gift', which is drawing attention as Kim Woo-bin's return work on tvN. In this production where Kim Woo-bin takes the main lead, Seo Eun-soo, an actress born in 1994 who is five years younger than him, will play the counterpart and showcase their acting chemistry.
'Gift' deals with the story of a former professional baseball pitching coach who gains special abilities due to an unexpected accident and is appointed as the manager of a high school baseball team that ranks last nationwide. It is based on the webtoon of the same name by author Jeong I-ri, which is being serialized on Kakao Webtoon, and will be directed by Kim Kyu-tae and Ham Seung-hoon, with a screenplay by Min-jeong, Hae-ju, and Seong-eun.
Kim Woo-bin will play the role of Jeong Min-yong, the manager of the Deokcheon High School baseball team, marking his return to tvN approximately five years after 'Our Blues' in 2022. Seo Eun-soo will play the role of Yoon Seo-jin, a physical education teacher at Deokcheon High School and the head of the baseball club, portraying a character who struggles to protect the baseball club based on a sense of justice and drive.
Seo Eun-soo has built up her filmography through various works such as 'Missing', 'Unlock My Boss', and 'Chief Detective 1958'. Including 'Gift', which is currently in production with the goal of broadcasting in the second half of this year, she plans to continue active activities with 'Made in Korea Season 2' and the film 'Ba-wi'.
