According to media reports, the movie 'Spider-Man: Brand New Day' starring Tom Holland has ranked number one in global box office revenue for special formats such as ScreenX and 4DX. The combined revenue earned during the 33 days since its release was tallied at $104 million (approximately 141 billion KRW).
This figure surpasses the previous record of $103 million held by 'Avatar: The Way of Water'. 'Spider-Man 4' overtook the record achieved by 'Avatar 2' over its 228-day run at a much faster pace, and the cumulative number of audience members in these special formats has exceeded 6.7 million.
From the early stages of production, this work was filmed using the 'Shot for ScreenX' method, keeping ScreenX screenings in mind.
