'Full Moon' is the second feature film by director Jeong Ji-hye, following the growth and conflicts of 16-year-old Hye-mi, who dreams of being the center of her school's dance team. It delicately captures the emotional lines of a character who drifts away from friends after an accident occurs on a festival stage and feels anxious about the potential revelation of her parents' disabilities. The film festival award results are significant in that both the completeness of the work and the audience response were confirmed together.
The Busan Film Commission provided 300 million won in production costs to 'Full Moon' through the 2025 Busan Production Company Feature Film Production Support Project. Director Jeong Ji-hye previously achieved success at the Jeonju International Film Festival and Rome Film Fest with her feature debut 'Jeong-sun'. As regional-based production support leads to actual film festival achievements, the support system of the Busan Film Commission is gaining attention once again.
