Yoo Hae-jin shares thoughts on becoming the actor with the highest cumulative audience numbers in South Korean film history

Actor Yoo Hae-jin shared his thoughts on the record of being the actor with the highest cumulative audience numbers in South Korean film history.

In an interview held at a cafe in Samcheong-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul, Yoo Hae-jin looked back on his 30-year acting career and said he wanted to tell himself that he did a good job.

He shared that starting from minor roles and moving between leading and supporting roles, he has appeared in 66 works over the past 30 years, and as a result, his name was placed as the number one actor in cumulative audience numbers for South Korean films.

Recalling that the movie 'The King's Warden', released during this year's Lunar New Year holiday, rose to second place in all-time box office rankings, Yoo Hae-jin reminisced that it felt similar to the time of 'King and the Clown'.

He said that the love from the audience has gradually grown, and when it surpassed 1 million viewers, he felt grateful because it felt as if the entire nation was enjoying it together.
