Actor Yoon Jae Chan has been selected as the lead in the film 'Boy's Diary'. His agency, Golden Moon Entertainment, officially announced the news of Yoon Jae Chan's casting on September 1.

'Boy's Diary' is a human drama that tells the story of the connection formed through diaries between Jimin, a juvenile detention center teacher, and Kang Jun, a 17-year-old boy, directed by Jung Han-jin. Yoon Jae Chan will play the role of Kang Jun, who is incarcerated in the juvenile detention center, and is set to lead the drama alongside Lee Kyu-hyung.

Yoon Jae Chan, who previously appeared on 'Produce 101 Season 2', experienced the disappointment of failing to secure the role of Ju Ji-hoon's child actor during a drama audition two years ago.
