Lee Seo-jin and Kim Kwang-kyu Step In as Festivalgoers Leave Before Chungju Ji Clan Set
SBS’s My Genie Secretary follows Ji Suk-jin and Ji Ye-eun of the Chungju Ji Clan on their first visit to Chungju for a festival performance. The episode airs Friday the 16th at 11:10 p.m., featuring blunt criticism from their celebrity secretaries and an unexpected intervention onstage.

Airing Friday the 16th at 11:10 p.m., the episode follows Ji Suk-jin and Ji Ye-eun on their first visit to Chungju, where they are due to perform at Chungju Park Music Festival WITH GUGAK. The festival draws about 4,500 people a day.
The duo appear as the program’s “my stars,” but their day begins with a reversal of roles. In a first for My Genie Secretary, the stars go out to welcome their secretaries, Lee Seo-jin and Kim Kwang-kyu, in person, even though they are supposed to be receiving assistance themselves. Their manager requests “emotional care,” but the preview promises blunt criticism instead.
Watching the Chungju Ji Clan’s AQUA music video, Lee asks, “Did you film it on a mobile phone?” After seeing Ji Suk-jin’s awkward acting in a Hong Kong music video, he calls it “low-rent acting.” Ji bristles and fires back: “You’re low-rent secretaries.”
The criticism continues at a neighborhood karaoke room where the duo rehearse for their performance. With the secretaries watching skeptically throughout practice, Ji Ye-eun protests, “How am I supposed to dance when you’re watching with dead-fish eyes?” The Chungju Ji Clan also grumble about Lee and the secretaries, saying, “These secretaries are crushing the celebrities’ confidence.”
After the troubles leading up to their arrival at the festival, the duo face another unsettling sight: audience members folding their picnic mats and leaving one by one before their set even begins. As the performers grow anxious, Lee and Kim take the stage themselves to introduce the Chungju Ji Clan and offer support.
The episode will show whether the secretaries’ surprise appearance can turn the mood around, alongside the duo’s first visit to Chungju, their rehearsals and the tense festival performance.
