Big in Square, a subsidiary of the AI and real-time content company Giantstep, has successfully turned a profit. The expansion of orders in the Japanese advertising market and new content businesses such as films and dramas drove the improvement in performance. Securing a stable profit structure for the subsidiary is expected to have a positive impact on the recovery of the consolidated performance of the parent company, Giantstep.

Big in Square has solidified its revenue base by successively securing local advertising projects in Japan. Based on this, the video content 'Personal Taxi' was selected for the Korea Creative Content Agency's production support project and is scheduled to be released through Netflix in Korea and the FOD platform of Fuji TV in Japan. Furthermore, the company is strengthening its capabilities as a comprehensive content studio through the production of the next work 'Jiangshi' and the aforementioned work, which was screened at the Jecheon International Music & Film Festival. In this process, utilizing Giantstep's Namsan XR Studio infrastructure to increase production efficiency was effective.

Giantstep is also focusing on improving profitability at the headquarters level through the acquisition of the Las Vegas 'Sphere' project in the United States and the introduction of its proprietary AI solution 'TabTo'. Industry experts evaluate that the trend of performance turnaround will become even more distinct as the simultaneous global market expansion and technological innovation of the subsidiary and the headquarters coincide. A Giantstep official stated, “Big in Square's turnaround to profit is a powerful driver for the improvement of consolidated performance,” adding, “We will continue structural growth through the acquisition of large global projects and cost reduction.”
