Jang Yoon-ju's 9-year-old daughter gives blunt critique of mother's 18-year-old advertising photos
Model Jang Yoon-ju shared a collection of photos and videos spanning her career from 1997 to 2026 on her YouTube channel, prompting a candid reaction from her daughter regarding a 1998 advertisement for the brand ZOOC.
On the 31st, Jang Yoon-ju released photos and videos on her YouTube channel 'Yoonjour' summarizing her career from her modeling debut in 1997 through 2026. Included in this collection is a photo taken when she was 18 years old for a 1998 advertisement for the fashion brand ZOOC.
Upon seeing the photo, her 9-year-old daughter, Lisa, expressed surprise, asking, "Is that Mom? I thought it was someone else," noting that she did not look like her mother. While adding that "the clothes are very pretty," Lisa offered a blunt opinion that she thinks her mother would look prettier without makeup.
Recalling her time as a ZOOC model in 1998 after hearing her daughter's reaction, Jang Yoon-ju added that she has "continuously changed to keep up with trends." She took amusement in the fact that her daughter focused on the clothing and makeup in the photo rather than her long modeling career.
According to media reports, Jang Yoon-ju shared her advertisement photos from 28 years ago with her daughter, receiving everything from questions about whether it was truly her to honest assessments that she looks better without makeup.
