Actress Kim Ga-eun shares physical changes at eight weeks of pregnancy

Actress Kim Ga-eun revealed she is experiencing shortness of breath and heightened sensitivity to smells in a video uploaded to her YouTube channel on September 31. After her eight-week checkup, she noted that the fetus has developed limbs and looks much larger than it did at six weeks.

On September 31, actress Kim Ga-eun uploaded a video to her YouTube channel titled "A Day in the Life of a Pregnant Woman with Food Cravings (7-8 Weeks)." In the video, she shares her feelings after viewing her 8-week ultrasound and describes the physical changes she is experiencing.

She noted that her appetite changes daily, stating, "Lately, I've been craving peaches and kiwis, and I'm looking for spicy food a lot. I'm also eating a lot of noodles." She mentioned that these changes in taste have led to instances where she eats separately from her husband, Yoon Sun-woo. "Lately, we eat separately like this. We eat together often, but in the evening, what I crave is different," she explained.

After her 8-week checkup, Kim Ga-eun expressed amazement at the fetus's growth. "I went for my 8-week checkup today, and it looks much larger than at 6 weeks, and limbs have formed. It's so amazing," she said happily. "At 6 weeks, it was just a small something, but now it looks like a person. It was cute to see the arms and legs have formed."

She also confessed to becoming sensitive to smells during her pregnancy. She shared that when her husband tried to grill meat, she went to her room, saying, "I can't stand the smell of meat." "It seems like many different changes occur during pregnancy. I didn't know I would become this sensitive to smells. I feel a bit like I've developed a dog's nose," she added. She also revealed experiencing early symptoms of shortness of breath, asking, "Everything else is fine, but I'm so short of breath. Is everyone like this?" She continued, "Other than that, things are passing smoothly. I don't know what changes will occur in the 9th week, but up to the 8th week, it has been very smooth."

Kim Ga-eun married actor Yoon Sun-woo last October after dating for 10 years, and she shared her pregnancy news as her first wedding anniversary approaches.
