Singer Kim Jang-hoon's planned performance near the Bukgyeongnyeolbido lighthouse to commemorate Dokdo Day on October 25 has been postponed due to inclement weather and maritime conditions. The agency FX Solution announced that Kim is expected to retry the first-ever popular music stage in the area this coming November.

The first-ever performance on the islands of Gyeongnyeolbiyeoldo by singer Kim Jang-hoon has been postponed due to inclement weather.

His agency, FX Solution, announced on the 26th that while Kim was scheduled to hold the first popular music performance in the history of Gyeongnyeolbiyeoldo near the Bukgyeongnyeolbido lighthouse in Taean County, South Chungcheong, local weather and maritime conditions made it difficult to reach the islands.

The stage was organized to commemorate Dokdo Day on October 25 and to promote the importance of South Korea's western maritime territory.

Kim Jang-hoon had planned to enter Bukgyeongnyeolbido to perform live with the band Korean People, with preparations made for live broadcasts through various channels, including the official YouTube and Chungnam TV YouTube channels.

Gyeongnyeolbiyeoldo consists of three islands—Bukgyeongnyeolbido, Donggyeongnyeolbido, and Seogyeongnyeolbido—located in Geunheung-myeon, Taean County, South Chungcheong. Among them, Seogyeongnyeolbido serves as the base point for South Korea's western territorial waters and is referred to as the "Dokdo of the West Sea" due to its strategic and geographical importance. Kim Jang-hoon is expected to attempt to reach the islands again this coming November to present the first popular music stage in the area's history.
