Lee Seung-gi held the "2026 Lee Seung-gi Concert Beginning, Development, Turn: Music" from the 23rd to the 25th at the Blue Square Woori WON Banking Hall in Seoul. This performance marks his first official solo concert since 2013.
Originally scheduled for the 24th and 25th, the show sold out within just three minutes of ticket sales opening, leading to the addition of an extra session for a total of three days of performances.
The concert title, "2026 Lee Seung-gi Concert Beginning, Development, Turn: Music," combines the term "Gi-Seung-Jeon" (representing the flow of a story) with the character "Rak" (meaning music), signifying his intention to share his story with the audience through music.
Despite the sell-out, the organizers arranged fewer than 10% fewer seats than the venue's official capacity to allow the audience more space to enjoy the performance.
Lee Seung-gi opened the stage with "OVERTURE," followed by performances of "Words That Are Hard to Say," "Delete," "Turn Back," and "Don't Forget, Remember, Don't Be Late." He then transitioned to a band-centered stage with songs such as "Like a Flower" and "Smile Boy," while the audience responded by singing along.
The musical direction was handled by Captain Planet, a team consisting of guitarist Lee Byeong-ho and keyboardist Choi Su-ji, who have worked with Lee Seung-gi for approximately 15 years and participated in this concert as his band.
Upon finishing the concert, Lee Seung-gi said, "In life, there are moments when you feel exhausted and find things difficult. In those times, just knowing that someone is by my side can be a great source of strength. I am sincerely grateful to you for being such a great strength to me today."
