According to media reports, the movie 'Hope' entered the full-scale overseas box office competition upon its release in North America on the 9th. During its opening weekend from the 11th to the 13th, it earned approximately $3.3 million (about 4.4 billion Korean won), ranking 8th at the North American box office.

To date, the cumulative global revenue for 'Hope' is approximately $41.25 million, which is about 55 billion Korean won. As a major production with a net production cost of approximately 50 billion Korean won, the additional revenue to be earned in the overseas market following the 4.55 million domestic viewers is expected to be a key variable in achieving the break-even point.

Meanwhile, reactions from critics and audiences are relatively positive, with the film recording a Tomato score of 80% and a Popcorn score of 79% on the film criticism site Rotten Tomatoes. However, as it faces off again against the competing film 'The Odyssey' in the North American market, attention is focused on whether it can lead the choice of overseas audiences beyond the domestic evaluation.
