Park Jeong-yeon joins tvN '100 Days of Deception'... to play independence activist Kim Myeong-nam
Actress Park Jeong-yeon has been cast as Kim Myeong-nam, a member of an anti-Japanese organization, in the upcoming tvN drama '100 Days of Deception'.
Actress Park Jeong-yeon is set to meet viewers by appearing in the new tvN weekend drama '100 Days of Deception'. On the 3rd, agency Salt Entertainment announced that Park Jeong-yeon will play the role of Kim Myeong-nam, a member of the anti-Japanese organization Gugukdan, depicting a journey toward independence.
Kim Myeong-nam is a character with a soft exterior but a strong interior, who is dedicated to helping the independence movement. Through this work, Park Jeong-yeon plans to express the intense aspirations of a person living through dark times with her own unique color.
Meanwhile, '100 Days of Deception' is a story about the espionage romance between Gyeongseong's best pickpocket Lee Ga-kyung and the Government-General of Korea's elite interpreter Sato Hideo, and is scheduled to premiere on October 10th. Park Jeong-yeon previously drew attention by simultaneously winning Newcomer Awards at the acting awards for last year's SBS 'The Winning Try' and KBS 2TV 'Our Golden Days'.
