During the "Where's the Company Card?" race in Jongno 3-ga on Sunday the 25th, Running Man members will use a measuring tape to decide who pays for a 50cm Deokja-jjim lunch, a competition that is expected to leave Ji Ye-eun devastated.
In the upcoming broadcast of SBS 'Running Man' on Sunday the 25th, members will head to Jongno 3-ga for a struggle to avoid paying for everything from activity fees to lunch with their own money.
The 'Where's the Company Card?' race will take place in Jongno 3-ga, which was ranked number one in 'Time Out's' selection of the world's coolest neighborhoods and was also featured on CNN. As the members must use their personal cards for any costs incurred if they fail to obtain the corporate card, they will explore various 'K-culture' experiences that are gaining popularity among foreign tourists throughout Jongno.
First, the members will participate in a special experience with an expert who has recently become a sensation on social media as the so-called 'Hyeokpilhwa Grandfather.' Hyeokpilhwa is a type of 'calligraphy painting' where names or characters are drawn using multiple colors and overlapping designs with a hard leather brush. To celebrate the marriage of the youngest member, Ji Ye-eun, the members requested her name be drawn. It is reported that the members were left speechless when a magnificent piece of art was created instantly.
Following this, they will visit a cafe that uses AI to provide fortune-telling and physiognomy readings. When Yoo Jae-suk attempted to check his wealth luck first, the members reportedly staged a collective protest, asking, “Why are you checking your wealth luck, hyung!” The results of Yoo Jae-suk's fortune-telling are expected to draw curiosity.
As lunchtime approaches, the tension regarding personal expenses is expected to rise. The lunch menu is 'Deokja-jjim,' a dish unfamiliar to the members, which left everyone astonished by its massive 50cm size. However, they face the dilemma of only five people being able to eat and the question of who will pay the bill. The members will challenge a game of fate where they line up personal and corporate cards and use a measuring tape to determine the payer based on where it stops. Because a large sum is at stake, the competition will be more serious than ever, but it is reported that Ji Ye-eun will ultimately be left devastated after her card is selected.
Furthermore, a sudden verbal dispute will break out as Ji Ye-eun is placed in a situation where she must also designate which members will be excluded from the meal. When Ji Ye-eun suggests she will exclude Yoo Jae-suk and Kim Jong-kook—who are set to serve as the moderator and singer at her wedding—Yang Se-chan will protest, claiming, “Isn't this too much of a school tie and regional tie connection?” This led to the members teasing Yang Se-chan's nonsensical remark, asking, “Where is the school tie or regional tie?” and “Have you not known the meaning of school and regional ties until now?” which reportedly turned the scene into a sea of laughter.
The 'Where's the Company Card?' race, filled with endless activities and potential expenses, will reveal which members will miss out on the Deokja-jjim due to Ji Ye-eun's choice when 'Running Man' airs on Sunday, the 25th, at 6:10 PM.
