Nam Yoon-su stated that since he has not yet filmed in the horror or thriller genres, he wanted to challenge himself at least once. He expressed a strong desire to try various types of acting and said that upon receiving the script for 'Killing Time', he decided he had to do it immediately.

Ryu Hye-young revealed she joined the project for the same reason, noting there was no reason not to take on the role of a dynamic character who fights and flees from an unidentified entity.

Ryu Hye-young mentioned Sung Bo-ra from 'Reply 1988', Bae Mun-jeong from 'Law and the City', and Choi Min-a from 'Intern', stating that she has been able to endure until now thanks to the characters she has encountered.

Nam Yoon-su shared his thought that he has not yet met many characters, having played Kwak Gi-tae in 'Extracurricular' and Go Young in 'Love in the Big City'.

He added that he now intends to look more deeply into the overall content and flow of a work, rather than just the characters.
