Previously, on the 16th, Ryu Yi-seo uploaded a video to her YouTube channel titled 'After the embryo transfer of the Jun Jin and Ryu Yi-seo couple.' The video contains scenes of confirming the pregnancy with a pregnancy test after the first embryo transfer and seeing the gestational sac at the hospital.

Ryu Yi-seo and Jun Jin confirmed the gestational sac at an obstetrics and gynecology clinic during the 5th week of pregnancy and even saw the yolk sac in the 6th week, but when they went to hear the heartbeat, they were told that the baby's growth was slow. Upon re-checking a few days later, they were told the growth had slowed even further and were diagnosed with a miscarriage. Ryu Yi-seo stated, "This time, it unfortunately ended in a miscarriage. Because we were already considering the possibility of a miscarriage from the moment we confirmed the pregnancy, the wound feels somewhat less for us as a couple."

She added, "It was a truly happy time. I am thankful to the baby who came to us, even if only for a short while. Some people might think that if we disclose this, it is because we succeeded, but that is not the case. Since I also studied and received a lot of comfort through YouTube, I want to provide comfort to others even when I fail." Mentioning Jun Jin, she shed tears, saying, "My husband also suffered a lot of heartache alone by my side," and added, "I will take care of my body and try egg retrieval again next time." Ryu Yi-seo married Jun Jin in 2020.
