MBC [Where Is My Home] 'Genius Jang' Jang Dong-min's game appears! Who will be the protagonist of the nighttime inspection of thatched houses in Seongeup Folk Village?

In the MBC 'Where Is My Home' (directed by Jeong Da-hui, Nam Yu-jeong, Jang Hyo-jong, Kim Yu-jin; hereinafter 'Where Is My Home') broadcasting today (15th), the final episode of the Jeju Island group field trip follows the Miryang field trip.

In this broadcast, the final story of the 2nd Group Field Trip, organized as the annual workshop for 'Where Is My Home', unfolds following last week. In this field trip joined by 'Honorary Family Members' singer YOUNGTAK and STAYC YOON, the coordinators were divided into the 'Livelihood-oriented Field Trip Team' led by Yang Se-hyung and the 'Romantic Field Trip Team' led by Kim Dae-ho to look around properties throughout Jeju. This broadcast marks the grand finale of the Jeju group field trip, from the 'after-work field trip' of Kim Dae-ho and Joo Woo-jae, who left work early, to the pleasant night gathered at Team Leader Suk's house.

After leaving work early, Kim Dae-ho and Joo Woo-jae visit a house located in Cheongsu-ri, Hangyeong-myeon. This is a place where an architect, a winner of the '2025 Young Architects Award', has newly reinterpreted traditional houses with affection for Jeju. In particular, while the design considering Jeju's climate stands out, the black exterior that harmonizes with the nature of Jeju catches the eye.

The interior also catches the eye with its sensible spatial composition. From the courtyard completed with red volcanic scoria to the neat atmosphere of Korean-style windows, the skylight in the bathroom that draws in deep natural light, and the windows that capture the scenery of Jeju like a frame, the architect's meticulous design stands out in every space. Additionally, an outdoor bath equipped with a sauna is added, drawing admiration by capturing both practicality and emotion. Expectations are high to see what this house, which preserves the beauty of traditional houses while harmonizing with the nature of Jeju, will look like.

Meanwhile, a special schedule awaits the coordinators spending the night at Team Leader Suk's house. As a 'nighttime field trip' is announced again this year following last year's 1st Group Field Trip, the scene becomes stirred. The place they will head to is a traditional Jeju thatched house, which is the original form of Team Leader Suk's house. While tension increases with the news of a nighttime field trip where they must rely on a single lantern, a game devised on the spot by 'Genius Jang' Jang Dong-min is held to decide which members will go. Expectations are high to see who will be the protagonist to go on the nighttime field trip after a fierce competition.

The final episode of the MBC 'Where Is My Home' Jeju Island group field trip broadcasts tonight (15th) at 10 PM.
