Yamaha Music Korea released four models from the ARIUS YDP digital piano series in Korea on the 19th. This represents a full lineup reorganization for the first time in five years since 2021, consisting of the traditional console-type YDP-146 and YDP-166, alongside the slim-type YDP-S36 and YDP-S56.
All models are equipped with sound sources sampled from the Yamaha concert grand piano CFX. The VRM Lite technology, which simulates string resonance and vibration, has also been applied to the entire lineup.
Key specifications vary by model. The YDP-166 and YDP-S56 utilize the newly developed GrandTouch-E keyboard, while the YDP-146 and YDP-S36 feature improved GHS keyboard sensors. The speakers incorporate a diffuser grill structure designed to disperse sound throughout a space.
All models support Bluetooth Audio and MIDI functions. By linking with the Smart Pianist app, users can control instrument settings, view sheet music for built-in songs, and access practice assistance features via mobile devices.
The four models offer different options based on keyboard specifications and exterior forms. In particular, by releasing both slim and console types together, the lineup allows for comparisons based on residential space and intended usage.
