Account linked to infidelity allegations liked video of Yang Hong-won's daughter
An account suspected to belong to a woman implicated in infidelity allegations against Yang Hong-won was found to have liked a video of his daughter, Lua. Yang Hong-won's agency has denied allegations of infidelity, claiming the artist only accompanied the woman to a motel to find a place to sleep while intoxicated.
An account suspected to belong to a woman involved in infidelity allegations against Yang Hong-won recently liked a video of his daughter, Lua, just five days after his wedding to Won Hyeon-ju in Seoul. The agency has refuted claims of infidelity, stating the artist only accompanied the woman to a motel to find a place to sleep while heavily intoxicated.
On the 25th, screenshots were shared across online communities showing a specific account having "liked" a video featuring Yang Hong-won's daughter, Lua.
The video was posted on a fan account for Yang Hong-won's family and consists of a roughly 19-second edit of footage of Lua originally released on the YouTube channel "Yang Hong-won's Parenting Diary" this past August. In the video, Lua is seen with a bright smile.
The matter drew attention because one of the accounts that "liked" the video is suspected to be the account of a woman, referred to as A, who is implicated in allegations of infidelity involving Yang Hong-won. However, it has not been confirmed whether this is the actual account used by A, and the account is reported to be currently deactivated.
Yang Hong-won held a wedding ceremony with former model Won Hyeon-ju at an undisclosed location in Seoul on the 18th. The two tied the knot approximately two years after announcing the birth of their daughter in November 2024.
However, only five days after the wedding, Yang Hong-won became embroiled in allegations of infidelity. A, who identified themselves as an acquaintance of Yang Hong-won, raised suspicions on social media, stating, "A newlywed groom just went to a motel with a woman. Isn't this wrong?"
In response, the agency released an official statement refuting the claims, stating, "The whistleblower's claims are different from the facts, and the provided materials are the result of malicious editing."
While the agency admitted that Yang Hong-won accompanied a woman to a motel, they explained, "The whistleblower demanded that they go to a specific motel," adding, "He went to the motel to find a place to sleep while heavily intoxicated, and the woman, having nowhere else to go, inevitably accompanied him."
The agency further added, "The artist fell asleep as soon as they entered the room. The woman tried to wake the sleeping artist and then requested help from the whistleblower, after which she went home with the whistleblower."
