Daewoong Pharmaceutical released a new URSA TV commercial starring actor Choi Dae-hoon on the 26th. This marks the first time a new URSA TV advertisement has been released in six years. The central message of the advertisement is, “Even as eras change, URSA is by your side.”
In the video, Choi Dae-hoon appears as an office worker from various different eras, spanning from the 1980s to 2026. The actor portrays the image of an office worker in the 1980s, when a six-day work week was common; the 2000s, when a digital work environment became established; and 2026, where workers must adapt to the spread of artificial intelligence. Both Daewoong URSA and URSA Complex appear in the advertisement.
The commercial will be released on YouTube in 15-second and 30-second versions in addition to TV. It is scheduled to be presented on Netflix starting from the 27th. The composition, which connects the changing work environments of different eras through a single person's performance, appears to focus on conveying the brand's long history by contrasting changing workplaces with recurring fatigue.
Daewoong Pharmaceutical also included a short advertising jingle utilizing the URSA brand name in this commercial. The main components of this campaign are the portrayal of office workers according to changing eras and the simultaneous use of TV and digital media.
